Note: U.S.
passport holders who are of Syrian origin, along with their
wives and children, do not require a visa to Syria - proof of
their Syrian nationality and marriage certificate is required at
the border entry point. If they chose to obtain a visa, they can
do so free of charge at the embassy of Syria in Washington D.C.
or at one of our honorary consulates.
We also strongly advise all
travelers to Syria to check with their airline carriers prior to
their trip regarding any required documentation.
1- Passports must be submitted by mail or hand delivered to either the Embassy or one of Our Honorary Consulates in California, Texas, or Michigan with two copies of the visa application form
Reminder: Please attach a photo to the application form. (If sending to one of our honorary consulates, we advise that you call and inform them of your submission in advance.)
2- Visas are valid for three months from the date of issuance.
3- When sending your visa request by mail please include
a self-addressed stamped
return envelope (FedEx or Express mail).
4- Passports must be valid for six months on submission.
5- Visa fee must be paid
by money order to "Embassy of Syria".
6- Visa fees may vary by citizenship: Visa fees are as follows:
American Citizens: $131(either one, two or multiple entries ) payable to "Embassy of Syria".
